Newly remodeled, the city of Hayward is a breath of fresh air. With the introduction of the Century theater, local restaurants and boutiques line the main drag, bringing new life to the Hayward community. In 2008, the city implemented the Hayward Public Art Program, inviting local artists to create murals throughout the city inviting creative expression.
